    Man the ending was *ss The story was great I still hate the fact they never show the fox and his 2 (Adopted Daughter) Now that i have finished this i dont know what to feel or do.I have Grown attached to this novel I don't know what to do I feel like nothing right now (Even though i hated this novel when reading it but i also love it more than i thought even more then i hate it)

    Man all i can say is I hate sad ending and bad ending to am in 820ch You know these characters that was In 1-200ch like Lin Leiyue his ex Flower Fox Ferret his frist pet that Started his journey We're all never shown again Like what happened to them did they die Also what happened to his Adopted Daughter???? After he left???

    I am currently at 190 and even though i am forcing to read at this point i will finish it. The problem is i felt like MC getting pushed over a lot. He is promised treasures multiple times for his troubles but we can't see what he gained or did he gain anything at all.

    a good start where I thought, made plans, cultivated. and then everything went downhill, he began to build his kingdom, he constantly fights like a stupid monkey, the world does not open up and in general he became stupid, looking for problems everywhere. too much unnecessary chatter. I want to read history, not chatter

      journey of the fate destroying emperor is really good with worldbuilding and history, just skim the first 40 ish chapters as the pagoda arc is trash (the novel is mid until chapter 100 but gets really as the story develops)

      I recommend 'Lord of mysteries' the first one, not the second one. The second one i still ongoing, i haven't come around to read the second. It was about a young man who got dragged into the supernatural side of his world, while at the same time got snagged into an investigation of the cause of the death of his two friend. Long story short, he got involved in a matter that keep make him dug deeper into the history of his world to find out the truth. 'the world online', if i rember it right. It was a world spanning game which is sponsored by the UN while the population of earth is migrating in search of new planet when earth is in the bring of apocalypse. The game it self is a form cultivation and training simulation for the future of human race. 'i shall seal the heaven', your typical xuanhua novel of a young ordinary scholar that became a cultivator with ordinary spiritual root which come across great mirror of impossible functions of copying natural treasures as long as he has money.

        Honestly circle of inevitability is peak, objectively better and more well written than LotM. Although LotM will always have the legend status and the rose tinted glasses… you can see that the second book is better, because the world building and setting is already done, he just has to reintroduce it from a new angle. So it gets into the good parts faster every arc, and Easter eggs and references always excite us. Youre in for a ride!

      You are expecting something different from what it offers. It's a world hopping story, by nature it can't show the same depth other novels that focus on one world at a time can. Plus it's in his nature to torment, fight and ravage. There are arcs later in the story where he torments people for the fun of it.

        Yeah.. i remember that part... It was close to the closing arc. Where he is already numbed with everything and has became careless. Doesn't even think about anything else but his own survival, no matter the cost. Heck... Many fans on qidian are very disappointed with the ending of this story.. very underwhelming after all those emotional rollercoaster and great adventures. I think the rating is dropping fast because the ending alone. . Despite everything, this story is one of the best there is among other simulation concept/ genre. Well translated, many kind of adventures in ancient time, modern days, many realm. Etc. . Except for the ending. The other in this story are good when reincarnation concept are starting to get popular.

        Finished this 2 days ago. A bit rushed ending, final arc is 😑😑😑😑. But rest of novel is good. It slowly builds, doesn't make MC OP from start. Also the title is misleading, MC is not carefree because people would not let him carefree. Not at the level of RI but this fang yuan is also quite scheming and ruthless when required. Funny often times, bro has injured heaven will of a world, kill hundreds of people but then get worried in next arc about morality of stealing.

        lmao good to know, have you read author other work? warlock of the magus world, I feel like you'd preferr that typa MC more, he schemes and is calculative and only does things in his favour, doesnt mind helping peope if he gets benefits, but is ruthless to people who make use of him and will kill without hesitation and mercy, the progression is also nice, it even has a sequel

    This is nonsense. I'm only here for the evil mc and as always I see the writers forcing the mc to do good things. (I'm not a saint but in order to be saved I have to save the world) This is the biggest change the writers make for an evil mc. (Reverend Insanity seems to be really special) Of course it was banned.
