Without his cultivation base, how will he handle these evil disciples?
His eldest disciple, Yu Zhenghai, said, “I’ve never had a rival in my life, and no one but Master can make me bow my head.”

I was holding for so long to not finish it. Well, finished august 7 2024 In my sincerer opinion, this novel is exactly what I was always looking for. Mc goes directly to the point and don't waste a lot of chapters for a small thing. I love all the disciples, they're amazing and they have their own personality, my favorites is yu shangrong, si wuya and yuan'er :) Mc is absolute peak, he's the op type that I love and he's also hot. My rating: Fights 9/10 (if this was the manhua I'd give it a 10) Story 8.5/10 this is a reincarnation and revenge with a system, kinda generic but the way it was built was amazing for me. Plot 8/10 i normally don't analyze everything but the ending was not that bad I didn't like the cliffhanger, gave me hope that would have more. Also, this novel don't have much details about characters and other things. But I like it that way, too much detail is very boring for me. This novel made me cry a lot, so I really like it. Have fun reading.

You should absolutely try. I came here from the manhua too. I recommend you a lot to read this. The reading is easy, you can understand easily what's happening. If you like the manhua you will like its novel too. You can start from chapter 215-230 I don't know which one is the continuation from the manhua but it's over these

I dropped it at chapter 1100. It’s an okay novel but very generic. I’m curious about the void, but the MC’s arrogance makes it hard to continue. He’s worse than some third-rate young masters I’ve seen. The master-disciple relationship is also quite disappointing. The story sometimes gets so repetitive that it feels like the author is mocking me, and other times it just feels random. The thing I dislike the most is how every situation and problem seems to be created just so the MC can show up at the last moment, one-shot all the enemies, and get praised for the rest of the chapter. It gets so boring and predictable that I skip most of the fights until the MC appears.

There are two types of arrogance. The first is being so arrogant that you don’t care what anyone else does because they’re insignificant, and that’s the kind of arrogance I like. The second type is being so arrogant that you can't stand it if people don't bow down and sing your praises every time they speak to you. That’s the annoying kind. It’s a bit exaggerated, but the main character is the second type. and it's even worse when you consider that he would die like a fly if not for the overpowered system.

Finished it on 15.Jul.2024. I'll give it a 6.5/10 Plot is kinda repetitive until 1000 chapters where he always use system items against enemies. But it gets better after 1000 chapters not like he doesn't use system items but it's not that much. To be honest I'd like it until 1700. Near 1800 to 1834 dude it's terrible. Things didn't make sense author suddenly revealed mysteries regarding MC past. Author must have take time and first give hints that something big is going to happen. Nah! He revealed everything in which mostly it's not understandable. From fight with last enemy (Ming Xin) everything seems rushed, even fight is illogical. Even this didn't disappoint me it was ok if ends it there I could have give it 7.5/10. But no he even give hints that something is wrong with his Ninth disciple and ends it there with leaving us on a cliffhanger 😣. -2 for rushed ending where story didn't make sense and -1.5 for cliffhanger in last chapter.

        - I didn't like the ending ( I felt like it was rushed ) - I didn't like the final battle - The story the majority of the time is essentially just MC's enemies underestimating the MC, just to lose easily (gets kinda old)

This novel although quite generic in some parts and ways, left quite an impression and imprint on me because of the family relationship he kinda develops with his disciples and the other members that join his sect throughout the novel. Plus the poem in the beginning chapters about his disciples just hit
