I will read it again for sure. It really is a beautiful story, where the ml open gradually to a pure and beautiful love. At the end, Xie Yang reminded me of Wei Wuxian from The Untamed, when he is teasing Lan Zhan, so I can only rate this story 5 stars and warmly recommend it. For those who still hesitate after reading the synospis and the reviews, don’t think that much and start to read, it is worth it. PS: there are (sadly TT ) no explicit content, and everything is up to the imagination of the reader ^^

the novel is very easy to read. even the fact that sometimes the translation is bad does not spoil it. I really liked Xie Yang's character. the only minus is that the romantic interaction, which was initially cute and funny, stopped pleasing somewhere after 100 chapters. maybe it's a cultural thing, or it's just not my cup of tea. but I didn't like that an emotionally immature person tries to treat a partner like a child

I was very surprised to see this novel touch the ratings leaderboard. I read this years ago using MTL and I must say that it was an incredible experience. Back then, I had never graced the top novels, so my taste was incomplete. Still, this story holds a heartwarming energy through rose tinted glasses. I strongly recommend you at least give this novel a taste, even if you don't like BL. If you like BL, this one's a good one.

This is a lovely romantic story. The MC and ML are really suited for each other and their interactions are really cute, even when they did not see eye to eye. There was not much focus on the side characters so it felt somewhat off at times but it's still a very good light novel. The MC was sure to cure the ML so I didn't get sad and it's understandable that he was so calm throughout (on the surface), but it still sent a wonderful message about their love. They trusted each other, communicated and struck together, contrary to many romance novels where one would drive the other away or separate from his/her partner to "protect him/her" from danger, oftentimes without explaining (much to my disappointment). In this one however they understood each other and so did everything not to make the other worry or feel left out or jealous. 10/10 for the romance. The only downside was the bad translation in some chapter that disrupted my excitement for the story and I expected more action since the MC was from an apocalyptic world.

Meh, in my opinion, it's not perfect. The first thing to address is the romance. This story sells itself as a BL. The title, tags, and other factors all scream this fact. Sadly, the story somewhat fails to deliver in this regard. Though I'm not a BL enthusiast, I can certainly tell that the romance feels "off" in this story. On a surface level, the Mc doesn't care much, while the villain is a massive tsundere. That's fine. What sucks is that the Mc is "sold off" by his father to become the villain's husband. Because of this, the romance never felt natural to me. However, if you disregard this fact, the romance in this story has its merits. It's a slow-burn, incremental tale where the relationship shifts from hatred to love. Another flaw with the romance is that it jumps up too quickly at a point. At some point, their relationship ramps up instantly from neutral to romantic. It felt forced, but it could've been a translation issue. If you enjoy BL, such a progression may resonate with you. The reason for my rating lies elsewhere. - Don't be fooled by the transmigration setting. It's a plot device that leads to other developments. In essence, this story is about urban drama. The supernatural elements are mostly to enhance the narrative with interesting conflicts. For example, the transmigration is the Mc's golden finger that gives special abilities. While the "book" element spices up the novel with foresight plans and a main cast. Ultimately, this story is about the entertainment industry and familial conflict. - Now, to explain this novel's flaws. The biggest issue is the peanut gallery. Arc after arc, there are strings of "chat messages" that usually spout a bunch of bogus. They hinder the story and essentially act as annoying filler. Moreover, after reading many stories with peanut galleries, I'm pretty sick of them. In the case of this novel, sometimes there are entire chapters dedicated to explaining netizen opinions. Considering this novel has under 200 chapters, you can understand why this is an issue. - The next flaw is the face slapping. Chinese novels are known to recycle face-slapping plotlines, but this novel goes overboard. The Mc face slaps family members, random people, other entertainers, etc. Throughout the story, annoying characters appear one after another to get slapped. After a while, the story loses its charm from the stream of mob enemies. - Another issue that goes hand in hand with face slapping is the Mc. From the moment he transmigrates, the body he possesses undergoes a massive behavioral shift, yet nobody questions him for it. IMO, this plot hole is all because the author never planned to focus his story on the transmigration aspect. He intended the story to be about urban drama, so he partially neglected other areas. - Finally, the conflict is lackluster. Despite the buildup, the main villain is pretty terrible and poses little threat. Although, I must admit the second villain was well written. Unfortunately, the overall tension falls off due to the constant face-slapping. As a result, reading the story feels pretty meaningless. Sure, things progress and such, but there's nothing to engage you. - Conclusion: As a 4. 9-rated novel, it has enjoyable elements. The character development and interactions are solid throughout. Also, the story is BL, so those who enjoy such stories will probably like this one too. Despite this, the story utilizes tropes like transmigration and "entering a book" only to toss them aside for an urban entertainment story. Furthermore, the romance it sells falls short primarily because it ramps up too quickly. Brought down by recycling chat messages and face-slapping, the story can sometimes feel meaningless. Lastly, the translation is edited mtl. So, if you hate mtl, stray away from this book. - My verdict is that the story has flaws that bring it down. How much they affect one's reading experience depends on the reader. These flaws ruined the story quite a bit for me. So, two stars. ⭐

Loved the story alot. I loved hiw Yang Yang was so patient with his husband. He helped to break the shell that his husband had been hiding in. I loved how his husband ate vinegar and still didn't agree to it. 🤗 They were made for each other

MC & ML are smart. They fight together through illness, drama circle, business circle, and face all malicious people. There feeling start from sarcasm to depending on each other to bonding and a beautiful love. The plot is good there are some sci-fi to it as well. It's not boring at all.

Xie Yang is a character who seems serious, straight forward and no nonsense with how he talks and faces situations. He is different as compared to other main characters which is normal as he came from the apocalypse and have some traumas. Qiu Xing is a tsundere who treats the MC coldly but deep inside just wants MC's attention. In the early chapters MC and ML are like cat and dog who quarrels a lot in a day but have sparks flying. This is a great novel to read. (つ≧▽≦)つ

I really enjoyed this story. It wasn't too crazy and the ml and mc are just adorable together. It also did a good job with tying up loose ends.
