Summary

The world’s largest VRMMO, Conviction, was almost like a second world for humanity. It had integrated itself into the real world’s economy, with both corporations and individuals seeking their fortunes through the game.

In this game, Nie Yan prided himself in his Level 180 Thief. He could barely be considered among the top experts in the game. Though, that was the only thing he could take pride in. He was penniless and unable to advance in life; a situation he was forced into by the enemy of his father. If it weren’t for the little money he made by selling off items in Conviction, he would’ve barely been able to eat. In the end, he chose to settle his matters once and for all. He assassinated his father’s enemy. He lay dying shortly after being shot in the pursuit.

However, that wasn’t the end of his story. Instead, he awoke moments later to find that he had reincarnated into his past self. Armed with his experience and knowledge of future events, he sets out to live his life anew.

For everyone who want to read this I have bad and good news bad news: status was not copied by the bot, and sometimes random paragraphs are mising or corupted good news: on orginal site you can get 40 ch free per week if you login every day (first 50 ch are free), and I am bored so I'm going to check every single chapter to somehow repair it (only as long as I feel like it, (I'll tell when I stop)) also I don' know how to do it, should I just tell how much is corupted in coments or copy paste it in(I've done it in ch 239) (there is limit 1000 characters in coment every 2 h so its realy slow) I'm not too strict about this, just quickly check if the first and last words on both sites are the same and if there's a paragraph missing so it's not 100% accurate, I also don't care when in chapter is missing the words that mach the title , that's it it happened in 90% of them and it's too much work (english is not my main language so pls don't blame me if I said something wrong)

So guys Imma reached nearly halfway of story and there are some things which are quite bothersome about mc:- 1. author has NEVER shown his status window, like what are his stats, where he lies, his skill growth etc are unknown only some vague info is given(not that bothersome tho). 2. he has not unlocked certain skill tree. (only readers know) which irritates me lmao i dislike when someone is not using their cheat to full potential. thats all it is. rest of things are pretty good. I like it man.

I really couldn't get hooked to this at all, either... I also read Rotssg, the whole thing, even that slow *ss start, but this novel somehow made it impossible for me to completely focus on the chapters, I would always lose focus and find myself doing anything else other than reading it. I only read until the 24th chapter idk if it gets any better or not, but I don't think I will ever find out... I tried. 😂

Before "Reincarnation of The Strongest Sword God" even exist this was once the peak of VRMMO fantasy genre in China its very unique of its own the Genericness of the VRMMO novels came from this, thats why there are similarities like the ones from Worlds Apocalypse Online, Legendary Mechanic and Cultivation Online.

NGL this being called a clone of RSSG feels bad, I know this has been around for longer, Anyways, didn't really like RSSG, not sure I'll like this either, most Chinese novels on this genre happen to be lackluster imo, well time to try this out

Ok. I read both this one and RSSG. To me they quite different. Here, the MC wants to get revenge of the person who caused his family to be destroyed and take them to be the best company in the world where in RSSG the Mc wants to get his glory and do things in different way of the one he did. One of the things that annoyed me here that the author never showed the MC stats. LIKE NEVER. this is a game and gamers have stats. He shiwed us the stats of equipments and skill but never the MC. RSSG was far better in this aspect. Another things, the plot here was kinda simple. MC wants revenge and gets it one way or another but in RSSG the MC discovers that the world was more complicated than he ever thought and things got clearer by time. But still it's worth reading.
