You see in other novels as a reader you see the betrayel and schemes coming but noooo not this one if i was mc i would have died 1000 times bcz i was not careful enough... Tusting other is a far cry you cant even trust your shadow bcz 1 day it might wake up to F.U.C.K you in the A.S.S and you wouldn't even see it coming

Disclaimer: i mean only wuxia/xianxia novels here I've checked comments here and under ''A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality'' about how you express your dissatisfaction about plot armor, being hunted by a powerful enemy, some plot holes and etc. I believe most of these people read SS, RI, LotM and think that they're experts now and they can judge all kind of novels but i assume you guys r wrong. Both of these novel r for experienced wuxia/xianxia readers. How u can enjoy a masterpiece if u don't understand what is the masterpiece? If u know nothing or barely nothing about art and u came to museum to see some paintings, most likely u would not understand what is so astonishing about these pictures. Same with literature, u don't start ur school with Shakespeare, do u? Same logic here. I would never recommend get acquainted with this genre from these novels. Sure, even if u r experienced u may not like it but.. no symbols
