    I remember this was the first story that got me into web novels to begin with. I remember watching the anime and instantly wanting more so i read the novel but man, i was really hoping for romance at the time. I remember the author seemed to tease it too, it seemed like there were a few ships but they never sailed. I slowly got bored of the repetition and dropped it. Wasn’t a bad read tho, gotta just try it out and see if you’ll like it, just don’t expect an ounce of romance fr.

    Is it worth it? I am hesitant to start it as there are no stakes. The introduction feels like a Korean drama. Any thoughts? The Legendary Mechanic and THE SECOND COMING OF GLUTTONY are top for me, and I am searching for something in that range.

        LOTM: Lord Of The Mysteries SS: Shadow slave Both are peak, lotm even has its second book releasing now, called Circle Of Inevitibility(COI). Both books are a must read.

        hmmm well I've read till 500, it's updated till like ~750; so far pretty nice especially when characters from the the first book are referenced. MC is similar to klein, as in he can use a power far above his paygrade. Certainly more amusing than Klein tho. tldr: there's no reason not to read it, it's cuttlefish. tbh u can read it whenever u want

      Hmm, I think so, I'm about halfway through, and all the characters have their personality. The start is a little slow but once more characters start getting introduced it picks up. If you don't like slow starts this is prob not for you but this is in my top 10 so it's decent.

    I really liked this novel. It’s probably the greatest gaming/MMORPG novel out there and I highly recommend you to read it. Would rate 7-8/10. The characters are well thought out and the shamelessness of the MC strikes when you least expect it. There is no romance tho if you are into that.

    I've never read a novel related to gaming that's as good as this. The way these people have actual personalities and the plot is super realistic instead of just random plot armor over and over again like in ranker's return etc. This is the best. Would love similar recommendations

      Well I recommend The Legendary Mechanic. It's also a game novel, the mc entered the game and time travelled. Pretty great my top rec on this game genre. Then there's Supremacy Games, Overgeared, reincarnation of the strongest sword god(closest probably to this novel, but shtty quality). Pretty much all the popular ones. Though I mostly rec TLM.
