It’s a fun pastime, at least. I recommend sticking to the manhwa, but if you want some spoilers, you can read this. I don’t know if there are a lot of translation errors or if the author just isn’t great, but the story has too many plot holes. The MC is stupid but being battle-hardened and a Baskerville makes him somewhat cool. You can imagine Goblin Slayer, but in this, he’s a demon slayer. The ending felt rushed, but I’m glad it’s over because I didn’t really want to keep reading.

I am short on time but one thing I would say, the story can still be improved in the manhwa. A little improvisation and its gonna be the best story.

I would have given it 4 stars if not for some the academy arc and also the ending. . The first 100 chapters are interesting i would say. But then the academy arc felt too long, maybe because it was not interesting enough for me. After that you have another arc and then it rushes towards the end. I finished reading and i would say the ending was rushed. Aslo The author could have mentioned more about his love life at the end. 😟 Somehow I'm still not satisfied with the ending, i expected it'll be explained in the side stories 😕 but the author just did a speed run. I wanted to atleast know how they get married and his life with Dolores , Camus , Aeyin , kirko. Especially, Sinclaire, i wanted to know more about them but the author just ditched us. IT Might also be because of Victer's personality that the author was unable to present us the romance 💒 and interaction which we were desperate 💘 for. . The mc was like "Demons need to die" all the time. 😑 I was hoping atleast we'll have some romance or to see the mc relax after everything was over but we'll it was all in vain. The amount of time skip the author did at the end was enough to write another 200+ chs(Though not necessary), or at least some more side stories to fill up the void left behind by the hastened ending. Ahhh seriously, 🔥💔My heart is really aching after reading the last few chapters . . . It's like the author wrote the side stories because the readers asked him to explain what happened in the end . It was like the author wanted to end it asap 😢.

I’m gonna start this by saying part of the reason this gets such a low rating from me is because it’s a harem and not a well done one either. So take that how you want to. Other than that the world building is ok, it’s really not that great as the author doesn’t go in depth about much if anything on any of the scenarios the plot takes place in. The pace is alright, if anything it’s a little bit all over the place with some arcs and time skips taking a few chapters and some taking like 150. The story is filled with grammatical errors as well and the first 40-50 chapters are unreadable as it’s basically a knock off Chinese novel translation but after that it’s ok. Overall I guess it’s a good time killer if your bored or really want something to read to kill time but if your looking for a stand out novel this isn’t it.

While this is a great novel, it is up to you to decide how you feel about the final scene. It may seem inadequate to some, but overall the story is well written and the characters have a wonderful side to them. It is a good book if you are just reading it to pass the time.

This story is a 10 out of ten fire story 🔥🔥🔥 Read the entire thing and skip no chapters because it has 10 out of 10 world building and characters and the story is enjoyable

Having finished the academy arc - or more like having skipped through it - I can finally rate this as mid - nothing special. I first stumbled upon the manhwa and instantly liked the art and the story. However after the barbarians arc it completely went downhill. The villain of the story got a cheap and easy redemption, the intriguing story about the young genius going against his own father, overturning the family and preparing for war turned into the most cliche sh*t ever: The regressor enters an academy as a commoner while secretly fighting against the evil demon under disguise and a bunch of chicks fall in love with either him or his secret identity, only to be ignored until the end, where it turns into a harem. There wasn’t even a reason to hide his identity anymore. The reason why so many people complain about the academy arc isn’t because its too long. Its because that arc clearly marks the point, the author had no more ideas for his own story or stopped caring about his own work and simply copied others. Thus the secret identity and the academy. It already exists countless times and is easy to copy. Otherwise the author had to come up with something new on his own. A story written without love and originality always ends up becoming boring to read.

Almost done reading, so I think it's a great time as ever to rate this novel. The start was good, premise, pacing, everything, then comes the barbarian arc, where there is some world building, so far so good, then, the story just starts to drag on and on endlessly, academy arc was still somewhat ok, a little longer than it should be, but bearable. Then comes the prison arc, the very reason I'm giving a 3 stars review, and not a 4 stars one, the arc is just disappointing, MC does some stupid decisions for seemingly no reason, and the girl that is introduced in the arc just goes on and dies in the most stupid and anticlimatic way possible, like, the entire place will blow up anytime, and she just says "Guess Imma stay", there were no enemies chasing them, no convoluted plot that needed her staying, no nothing, so she just goes and dies for reasons even the author is still trying to think about. And MC just does nothing to save her from her own stupidity. If not for it being almost the end, I would probably have dropped then and there.

Like the novel but the grammatical errors in the various chapters suck out the enjoyment. The editors really need to comb through this novel and fix them. There is constant switching of gender terms for multiple characters or not using their correct name when they are speaking or being referenced or spoken to

It's basically what you would expect from a average regression novel. The plot is nothing insane, world building is OK. Main character stupid and smart and too, too broken. Side characters development is good. And that's it, don't expect some peak
It’s peak bro change the review to 5
