The novel is still ongoing though it is currently on-hiatus due to the author's family circumstances. There are currently 7 volumes, some chapters have been translated into English and translations of other chapters are in progress.

Synopsis

Beginning with the awakening of our main character, Kim Rok Soo, in a different world, he finds himself possessing the body of a minor villain inside of the novel [The Birth of a Hero]: Cale Henituse. As he tried to avoid being beaten up as in the original novel, his actions directly lead to the original plot derailing and he finds himself dragged into the center of many conflicts happening in the world.

[The Birth of a Hero] was a novel focused on the adventures of the main character, Choi Han, a high school boy who was transported to a different dimension from Earth, along with the birth of the numerous heroes of the continent.

I became a part of that novel as the trash count (tcf), the family that oversaw the territory where the first village that Choi Han visits is located.

The problem is that Choi Han becomes twisted after that village, and everyone in it, are destroyed by assassins.

The bigger problem is the fact that this stupid trash who I’ve become doesn’t know about what happened in the village and messes with Choi Han, only to get beaten to a pulp.

“…This is going to be a problem.”

I feel like something serious has happened to me.

But it was worth trying to make this my new life.

    Now that i'm reading the novel again i released that there are a lot of names that i've been reading wrong repeatedly 😐 is it just me !?!?!? E.x, Marquis Ailan > Alien 😑 Pearun kingdam > Peruan 🤦🏻‍♀️ If i remember more i will add them to my shamefull history of my favourite novel 👩🏻‍🦯👩🏻‍🦯👩🏻‍🦯

    I like this novel, but the one thing that I hate about it is how the villains are so shallow and aren't complex. All of the villains' personalities are the same in a way, and their dialogues are too long and cringe. Please tell me that the season 2 villain is better than white star

      Ws is only a puppet for the real villains that appear in book 2 so pretty sure they’re more calculating and not as shallow

    I’m on chapter 296 and I’m not sure if this novel is for me, I can see the hype and how people like it but I just really can’t get into it. I do love some of the moments but some times it feels like I’m not intrigued if that makes sense, Does it get better?

      Ohhhhhhh after chap 180 it became my favorite thooo it's strange that u didn't like it a lot but I think you should continue to chap 300-400 (the first apparition of the main villain of book 1) and there'll be a lot of things in these chps a big war... and if you don't like it at chap 300-400 then drop it i think it's the best u could do

        Tbh in my experience, I read the manhwa first before I came to the novel to continue which I find extremely enjoyable 😝✨ the manhwa represents the characters really well and it gives you more visualizations of the characters before continuing the novel in a better light, but since you read the novel from the start (I assume), the conversations may seem a little unnatural and it's understandable! However, CONTINUE BCZ ITS GENUINELY A MASTERPIECE!!! :33

      Their are times when the mc (cale) reoccurs some trauma from the past due to his ability (this may be a spoiler) ,but he always handles it maturely (or through delusion (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)) ,and no,no evil God makes anyone pregnant (what the heck) but gods are important throughout the story,no fast growth mushroom or any sort (the mc is quite a unlucky b*st*rd and workaholic -though that will only be mentioned 100+ chapters-dunno),and yes no courting death mc...(he literally hates death haha)
